Do the Compliance Documents Match the Actual LED Mask?

Compliance abbreviations alone are not enough. Before ordering, confirm what your target market requires and whether every supplied document applies to the exact LED mask you intend to buy.
Which documents should you review?
Depending on the market and product, the file set may include CE, FCC, RoHS, EMC documents, battery documents, the user manual, safety information and product labelling.
Is the exact product model listed?
Match the model number and configuration on the document to the quotation and sample. A report for a similar-looking mask should not automatically be treated as evidence for another model.
What does each document cover?
CE, FCC, RoHS, battery transport documents and an FDA 510(k) clearance address different requirements. Review the underlying scope, standards, applicant, model list and evaluated configuration.
What is the buyer’s working rule?
Confirm the target market first, then match each document to the actual product. If the hardware, battery, intended use or claims change, review document applicability again.
